There is some confusion on the use of the term bedsharing and cosleeping. A lot of publications state cosleeping when referring to bedsharing. And, bedsharing should not be confused with cosleeping, it is simply bedsharing. And according to research carried out by UNICEF and The Lullaby Trust, UK, bedsharing is one of the greatest causes of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death).
