01 Sep Reasons why you should use a bedside crib for your new born
Cosleeping, bedsharing, bedside sleeping?
There is some confusion on the use of the term bedsharing and cosleeping. A lot of publications state cosleeping when referring to bedsharing. And, bedsharing should not be confused with cosleeping, it is simply bedsharing. And according to research carried out by UNICEF and The Lullaby Trust, UK, bedsharing is one of the greatest causes of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death).
Cosleeping has been given a bad name in the past because of the above reasons. It is easy to see that not all cosleeping is created equally. Cosleeping cribs are a new design development in the nursery market. And just recently, they are now being referred to as ‘bedside sleepers’.
